ASCS Frontier Region Working Three Nights Across Montana This Independence Day Weekend

Bryan Hulbert – GREAT FALLS, Mont. (June 29, 2022) Three nights of racing are on deck for the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region this Independence Day Weekend with stops at Gallatin Speedway on Friday, July 1, and Electric City Speedway on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4.
The season’s second trip to the Belgrade oval, Washington’s Colby Thornhill grabbed the Friday night victory. Rolling into Electric City Speedway for the two-night Spring Round Up in May, Trever Kirkland and James Setter split time in Victory Lane. Going into the weekend, Kirkland has taken the early point’s lead by 16 over Canada’s Kelly Miller. Joe Perry trails by 21 in third with Kory Wermling and Jordan Milne completing the top five after four events.
Friday, July 1 at Gallatin Speedway’s Grizzly Showdown opens at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:35 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and free for kids 12 and under. The night includes WISSOTA Street Stocks and IMCA Modifieds. Gallatin Speedway is located at 2290 Tubb Rd. in Belgrade, Mont. The Fireball Special at Electric City Speedway, events on Sunday and Monday open at 5:00 P.M. with cars on track at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). WISSOTA Super Stocks, Street Stocks, and IMCA Modified are on the card along with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region. Tickets per day are $20 for adults, $14 for seniors, military, and youth (13-17), and free for kids 12 and under. Electric City Speedway is located just north of Great Falls, Mont. on Hwy. 87 at 2801 Old Havre Hwy. The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes 11 Regional Tours encompassing both wing and non-wing competition.
