United Rebel Sprint Series Rolling Through Kansas And Nebraska

(June 7, 2022) Making the trek through Kansas and Nebraska this weekend, the Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford will be at Oberlin Speedway (Oberlin, Kan.) on Friday, June 10, and Lincoln County Raceway (North Platte, Neb.) on Saturday, June 11.

Taking this past weekend to regroup after two nights at I-70 Speedway during Memorial Day Weekend, the battle for the 2022 Championship shows Luke Cranston atop the URSS standings by 18 going into the weekend double. Jon Freeman holds second, followed by Jeremy Huish, Connor Atkinson, and Cash Beeson to make up the top five in tour standings.

At bat at Oberlin Speedway twice in 2021, on August 13-14, Ty Williams and Koby Walters each took their turn atop the podium. Absent from the URSS lineup since 2019, the series stop at Lincoln County Raceway on May 4 of that year went to Jason Martin, who led start to finish.

Friday, June 10 at Oberlin Speedway opens at 6:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:10 P.M., followed by Racing at 7:30 P.M. (CDT). Classes on the card include IMCA Hobby Stock IMCA Modified, Northern Sport Mods, Sport Compact, and Stock Cars. Oberlin Speedway is located at the Decatur County Fairground in Oberlin, Kan. The ‘Summer Sizzle’ at Lincoln County Raceway on Saturday, June 11, opens at 5:00 P.M. Cars hit the track for Hot Laps at 6:30 P.M., with racing at 7:00 P.M. The night’s lineup includes IMCA Northern Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars, and Mod Lites. Lincoln County Raceway is located at 5015 West Rodeo Rd.
