Mechanical Issues Sideline Stevens early at Old No. 1
Tyler Stevens resumed action with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) on Friday night at Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.).
Twenty-nine Super Late Models entered the program, and Tyler started the night with the fourth-fastest time in qualifications, which positioned him second on the starting grid for his heat race.
A second-place finish in his heat race earned Tyler the seventh-starting spot for the feature. Unfortunately, he would be an early retiree from the feature with a blown oil pressure line.
Tyler was credited with a 22nd-place finish.
Saturday night's scheduled event at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.) fell victim to rain.
