Gallardo Racing attends USRA Fall Nationals at Vado

Fito and Jake were in action this past weekend in the USRA Modified division as part of the Vado Speedway Park's 22nd annual Rancho Milagro Fall Nationals and Peyton was also in action in the USRA B-Mod division.

The event kicked off on Friday night with Jake racing from 10th up to 6th in his qualifying heat race, while Fito raced from 4th up to 3rd in his. Jake had to race into the feature through the b-main, coming from 4th up to 2nd to put himself in the night's main event. In the feature, Jake raced forward from 10th up to 13th, while Fito started 15th and worked his way forward to cross the finish line in 10th. After running 8th in his B-Mod heat race, Peyton rallied from 6th to win the b-main and then charged from 17th forward to cross the finish line in 7th.

Saturday night, Fito won his qualifying heat race, but unfortunately fell out of the feature after starting 5th. Jake ran sixth in his heat race before storming from 7th to win the b-main and then work from 18th up to 15th in the night's feature event. Peyton had a good night, racing from 5th up to 2nd in his heat race and then capped off the night with a 5th to 3rd run in the night's feature as well.

Championship Sunday saw Peyton start 5th in the B-Mod feature and after racing inside the top five early, he suffered damage and ended his night early. Jake started on the pole of the b-main and ran away with the win, while Fito started and finished 7th in the b, putting both cars in the night's $22,000 to win feature. In the feature, Fito started 19th and Jake rolled off 15th. Both drivers worked their way forward with Jake crossing the finish line in 10th, while Fito finished just behind him in 12th.
