PATE SCORES THIRD UMA MOD WIN AT DRP

Wisconsin Dells WI-Defending UMA Modified Champion Matt Pate captured the 25 lap A-Main on Brewster’s Lanes Night. Dan Howard and Matt Pate Brought the strong 14 car field to the green for their 25 lap A Main. Pate would jump out to a large lead from his front row starting spot. Fast Qualifier Weston Marthaler (14.377) would fight forward from his 9th starting spot to attempt to challenge for the lead but Pate was just too far gone as he went wire to wire to claim his 3rd feature win of 2023. Weston Marthaler would finish second followed by Bill Prietzel, Dan Howard and Jerry Blystone. Bill Prietzel would win the Diamond Race Wheels Fast Dash and Dan Howard would win the heat race. Weston Marthaler heads in to the final 2 points nights leading Matt Pate and Brad WIldes. The UMA Asphalt Mods are back in action 9/9/23 as part of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Night.
