Willard Competes in COMP Cams Doubleheader

Making his first start of the season with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Brennon Willard invaded Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park (Poplar Bluff, Mo.) on Friday afternoon for the $3,000 prize. In a field of 29 cars, Willard recorded a seventh-place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.), Brennon timed in sixth fastest in his qualifying group before placing third in his heat race. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Willard faded six spots in the 40-lapper to finish 17th.
