RTJ suffers blown motor at North Central Speedway

With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) doubleheader weekend at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) rained out, Ricky Thornton Jr. ventured to North Central Speedway (Brainerd, Minn.) on Saturday afternoon to pilot his No. 20RT Modified for the third round of the Land of 10,000 Lakes 10k. Following a third-place finish in his heat, Thornton Jr. secured his spot into the main event with a runner-up finish in his B-Main. Running into trouble early in the 30-lapper, Ricky suffered a blown motor.
