Cut Tire Ends Emily Martin’s 2019 Season Opener Early

26 Promotions – Casa Grande, AZ – (March 7, 2019) – Emily Martin kicked off her 2019 season on Saturday with the Cotton Classic at Central Arizona Speedway.
Martin’s night began with heat race action where she would start and finish sixth in the second of three Pure Stock heats lining her up 20th for the start of the 15-lap feature.
“We were getting faster and faster as the race went on,” she explained. “We had picked up two or three spots early in the race when we were run into by another car, which popped the right rear tire, ending our night.”
Martin officially ended the night in 17th.
“It wasn’t the night we wanted but we are really happy with the improvements I’ve shown in the short time I’ve been in the car,” she said. “I’d like to thank all the family, friends, and sponsors that have helped us get to the track and we’d like to thank Allen Hakes with Suit Yourself and Steve Martin with K Corp for coming on board this season.”
