Rowdy Gramps Scores First Open Intermediate Win at RBO
Points Race #2 for the Red Bluff Outlaws took place on Saturday, October 29th as the first part of a double header weekend of racing.
In total 15 drivers signed in to compete in Points Race #2 for the Open Intermediate Class.
The day began with Aiden Larimer of Merced, CA setting Fast Time. Larimer turned a lap time of 8.937 seconds to earn the Fast Time Honors in Qualifying behind the wheel of his Cornaggia Farms, SRT Karts #5 entry.
Heat Race #1 saw Chico, CA driver Rowdy Gramps earn his 1st Heat Race Win of the season in his SRT Karts, Whitchurch & Son Trucking #14 entry.
Heat Race #2 saw Gardnerville, NV driver Evan Gularte pilot his Jesse Colwell Racing #17m entry to his 2nd Heat Race victory of the season.
The Trophy Dash was claimed by the Sal Calderon Racing #14m of Connor MeWhirter, earning him the Pole Position for the upcoming Main Event.
The A-Main Event saw Rowdy Gramps earn his 1st career RBO Open Intermediate Main Event win in his #14 entry. 2nd Place was the Harper Enterprises #08h of Samuel Harper. The final step on the podium was claimed by the B&B Machine Quilting, Hammerdown Motorsports #22 of Garin McNary.
