R.J. TAKES 10TH SW SPRINT IN “HALLOWEEN HAVOC”
Casa Grande, AZ……..USAC Southwest Sprint Car point leader R.J. Johnson of Tempe, Ariz. scored his 10th point-paying feature victory of the 2016 campaign in Saturday night’s “Halloween Havoc” at Central Arizona Speedway. Wheeling the Bill Michael Kodiak Products/Beal’s auto Body Sherman/Ford, he led the final 21 laps after passing C.J. Leary on lap 10. Leary finished second ahead of Hard Charger Brady Short, Tye Mihocko and Dennis Gile. The series now prepares for its 2016 finales this coming weekend in the “Western World Championships” at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek.
