VICTORY FOR WIEST SOLIDIFIES 13TH TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP
When the green flag waved in the INEX Legends feature, it was a three car battle for the lead between Dauntae Martin, Andy Bargmann and Duston Herz. Dauntae Martin shuffled into the lead early as it was a wild race behind him with cars using every inch of our 3/8 mile race track. Points leader, Donavin Wiest, worked his way to the front and grabbed the lead before a lap seven caution regrouped the field. A series of mid-race cautions slowed the pace but on the final restart, Wiest pulled away from the field. It was now a race for second between Noah Madler and Preston Martin. As they raced hard, it allowed young Ty Olson to make it a three car battle. When the checkered flag waved, Preston Martin finished second ahead of Ty Olson and Noah Madler. Andy Bargmann held off Gage Madler and Brandon Anderson for fifth. Meanwhile, Donavin Wiest cruised to his second Dacotah Speedway victory and clinched his 13th track championship.
