Sauter Leads CWRA Super Late Models into Championship Night
Wisconsin Dells WI 9/22/21-Tyler Sauter of Necedah WI will be looking to close out his first Central Wisconsin Racing Association Championship this Saturday at Dells Raceway Park Midwest Championship Weekend if he can hold his 12 point advantage over former series Champion Jeff Weinfurter of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Sauter and Weinfurter both are winless in the 2021 season but have parlayed their consistent top five finishes to sit a top the CWRA Point standings. Winning won't come easy as a host of hard charges will be looking to put their names in the CWRA win column as well like 9 time Golden Sands Track Champion Mark Eswein is still looking for his first CWRA win on the season as well as rookie Tristian Swanson of Elko MN who has won in the INEX Legends, Midwest Truck Series and UMA Asphalt Mods this season plus returning winner Jesse Bernhagen of Willard WI has 2 feature events to his credit this season in CWRA competition. Corey Jankowski of Tomah and Steve Lichtfeld of Portage are the most recent winners in CWRA and will be on hand as well. The Showdown at the Midwest Championships starts with fans gates opening at 3pm, qualifying at 4pm and Racing at 6pm this Saturday Night Sept 25th.

General admission tickets can be purchased in advance or at the track box office on the day of the event. Dells Raceway Park is located two miles west of I-90/94 at Exit 85 just off of Highway 12.
