Timms visits Devil's Bowl to compete with Lucas Oil ASCS

Ryan Timms returned to the driver’s seat of his Western Flyer Express No. 5T Sprint Car on Friday afternoon at Devil’s Bowl Speedway (Mesquite, Texas) to compete in a doubleheader weekend with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS). In a stout field of 46 competitors, Timms missed a transfer spot by one position in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Grabbing the third-and-final transfer spot, Ryan earned the 22nd-starting position for the main event. Improving seven positions in the 25-lap affair, Timms logged a 15th-place outing. (DPC Media)

On Saturday, Ryan followed up a sixth-place finish in his heat with a seventh-to-third run in his B-Main. With $4,000 on the line in the feature, Timms gained seven spots to register a 15th-place finish.
