Bad luck for Stevens at Legit Speedway Park

Tyler Stevens was one of 36 Dirt Late Model competitors entered in the XR Workin’ Man Series Hard Times 50 at Legit Speedway Park on Monday evening.

The driver from Searcy, Arkansas, piloted his W&W Timber No. 2 to the fifth-quickest time in his group qualifying session, starting him third in his heat race on the 3/8-mile oval.

However, Stevens was caught up in an accident in the heat and was unable to start his B-Main for a chance to transfer to the 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event.
