Runner-Up Finish at RPM Speedway for Stevens

Tyler Stevens trekked south to RPM Speedway (Crandall, Texas) for a $1,500-to-win program, which was co-sanctioned by the Southern Touring Late Model Series and the DFW Local Late Model Tour.

With 34 entries on hand Tyler raced to a runner-up finish in his heat race, which earned him a spot in the redraw. Receiving the sixth-starting spot for the 30-lap feature, Stevens clawed forward to a runner-up finish behind Dean Abbey with Jamie Burford, Chase Allen, and Beau Begnaud completing the Top 5.

“It wasn’t a bad night for us, but I just couldn’t steer all night like I needed to. We’ll work on it and try again. Congrats to Dean Abbey on the ‘dub’,” Stevens shared.
