Cosner follows LOLMDS to Bubba Raceway Park and All-Tech

Monday night saw Matt Cosner return with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Fla.) for the two-day K&N Filters Winternationals. In a field of 43 cars, Matt grabbed the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat, which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. He returned on Tuesday but decided to scratch from the event before time trials due to rough track conditions.

On Thursday evening at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) for the General Tire Winter Nationals, Cosner’s seventh-place finish in his heat relegated him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 3 into the A-Main, Matt fell short with a seventh-place finish.

For the finale on Saturday after Mother Nature axed Friday’s program, Matt logged a 10th-place finish in his heat, leaving him with one final shot at the A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place third or better, Cosner recorded a ninth-place outing.
