Runner-up finish with ULMS at Selinsgrove Speedway

Matt Cosner visited Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pa.) on Friday afternoon with Eddie Carrier Jr. joining him in his secondary ride for the Zimmer’s United Late Model Series-sanctioned Ernie Jones Memorial.

After topping the 14-car field in time trials, Cosner dropped five spots in the feature to finish second. Eddie jumped up two positions from the fifth-starting spot to place third.

For the Late Model Open on Saturday at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.), Matt secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a second-place finish in his heat. Inching forward one spot in the 30-lap affair, Cosner notched a runner-up finish. He followed Gregg Satterlee to the checkers with Andy Haus rounding out the podium.
