Oakley Johns continues hot streak at Duck River; collects $6,000 in Gobbler

Fresh off a victory at last weekend, Oakley Johns looked to ride his momentum on Saturday evening at Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) for the 36th-annual Gobbler.

Among a strong 32-car field, Johns clicked off the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group which earned him a second-row starting position for the 40-lap main event. Slowly making his way to the runner-up posittion, Oakley battled with Tanner English before a lap car slowed up in front of both drivers. Johns took advantage and snuck by English with just two laps remaining.

Oakley captured a $6,000 payday for the second week in a row.
