Covington, Crigler, Anglin, Russell, and Tackitt Take Wins This Weekend
It was the ASCS Sprint Cars topping the card at Legit Speedway this past weekend with lots of high speed action presented by Holiday Inn Express. Matt Covington from Glenpool, OK. came away with the Sprint Car victory and took home the $2,000 top prize money. In other racing action at the speedway we seen Sawyer Crigler of Alton, MO take the win in the Reliable Chevrolet A-Mods, Tony Anglin of Walnut Ridge, AR take the Mayfield Auto Repair Super Stock win as well as the Billy Sexton Auctions Sportsman Late Model win by only .005 seconds. Veteran Chuck Russell of West Plains, MO took home the Scaggs Repair Hobby Stock Win, and 14 year old Aiden Tackitt of Viola, AR would take home the $500 check and the win in the Holiday Inn Express Sport Mods. The next event at Legit Speedway is Saturday May 13th with $2,000 to win Super Late Models, Vintage Car races with the Gateway Racing association, as well as a Classic/Performance Car Cruise-In with the Willow Springs Charitable Events group (WSCE).
