First Oval Win

Saturday night was a night to remember. We practiced all day Friday. And thanks to Danny and Chris Lilly for all their help getting the car squared away.

We then got back at it Saturday and were one of the fastest cars all day long and qualified p2. The green flag dropped in the first feature and with a last lap bump and run we got 2nd place.

In the second race we had a 6 car invert and started 5th. We pushed it 3 wide and were in first by lap 3. We led the rest of an amazing race with 2nd and 3rd battling hard all race long.

I have to thank everyone who has put a hand on this car all season long. Starting with Mike Gwaltney for giving me a fast car every race. Ken Joyce for the amazing carbs. Both Danny and Chris Lilly for teaching us so much about these cars. Hawkeye Signs and Racing Graphics for the amazing wrap.

Most importantly I have to thank my dad, Michael Weedon. He supports my racing career. Him and I were working on the car till 11 o’clock Friday night. He is the most amazing person and no matter how bad we piss each other I still love him.
