Josh Putnam opens 2024 season with fourth-place outing at North Alabama Speedway
Kicking off their 2024 campaign, Josh Putnam unloaded the Gerald Horne-owned No. 212 at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon for the Coltman Farms Racing Southern All Star Series-sanctioned Spring Showdown.
Qualifying 12th out of 34 Late Models, Putnam started the 40-lap feature from the sixth-row and crawled forward during the lengthy event to land inside the Top-5 in fourth. Chasing the $5,000 payday, Josh trailed Spencer Hughes, Dalton Cook and Cory Hedgecock to the checkered flag while Jamie Oliver completed the Top-5.
