MPM Client Schimmel Partners With Lee Faulk Racing and Development
Inside Line Promotions – COLUMBIA, S.C. (Feb. 22, 2017) – McCallister Precision Marketing is pleased to announce that client Brooke Schimmel has signed to drive for Lee Faulk Racing and Development in the NASCAR All-American Whelen Series this year.
“Lee Faulk Racing and Brooke Schimmel are a perfect fit,” MPM Founder Tonya McCallister said. “This is a great opportunity for Brooke to broaden her racing career and for Lee Faulk Racing to showcase exactly what they do for young racers.”
Schimmel, who hails from Woodland, Wash., started racing in 2008 in quarter midgets and was promoted quickly to full competitive racing division after only six races. She was named the Rookie of the Year, the Junior Driver of the Year, the Driver of the Year and the California States Race Champion with a second-place finish at the Western Grand Nationals and a third-place result in the Winter National that season.
The accolades continued in the quarter midget ranks for several more seasons featuring multiple state, regional and national wins before Schimmel moved into legends race cars in 2014. She was the South Sound Speedway Rookie of the Year.
In 2015 Schimmel raced in Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. She was the INEX sixth-ranked Nationally Road Course finisher and set multiple fast times and won several heats along with racking up many top-five main event finishes. Schimmel was also among the top 10 in qualifying in her first time in a Pro 4 late Mod in 2015.
Last season Schimmel raced in the West for the Kustom Fab Development team in a Fury Limited Late Model. In her first event Schimmel qualified second best out of 30 drivers and she continued that progress. Schimmel recorded a fourth-place result in her second career race and she garnered a podium finish in only her third event.
Additionally, Schimmel moved to a Super Late Model with the Northwest Super Late Model Series with her Limited Late Model for two events. She outqualified all rookie drivers while driving her Limited Late Model in a Super Late Model field of cars, which is the type of success that helped lead to a great opportunity this year with Lee Faulk Racing.
“I can’t thank Lee Faulk Racing enough for the opportunity,” she said. “Also thanks to Tonya for her work to bring us together for this partnership. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to continue to grow and improve my racing skills at the next level.”
Lee Faulk Racing and Development began operations in Florida and moved to Mooresville, N.C., in 2006. Since the move, LFR has grown from a single-car operation to a multi-car development team.
With names like Papis, Stenhouse, Fittipaldi, Piquet and many others behind the wheel, LFR has been able to build its brand and solidify its place at the top of the development industry.
“LFR has formed numerous partnerships along the years to give development drivers the best opportunity to succeed and achieve their goals and working with MPM enhances that even more,” LFR Vice President of Marketing Michael Faulk said. “We look forward to working with Brooke. She is an up-and-coming driver who is ready to take the next step and we’re excited to help her grow and achieve her goals.”
