FREDERICK SLIDES TO VICTORY IN THRILLER FINISH
John Feist and Hunter Domagala led the field to the green flag for 40 laps around the Dacotah Speedway in the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Defending track champion, Hunter Domagala, grabbed the lead and quickly pulled away. The battle was on for second as Geoff Hellman chased down second place Tracy Domagala. As Tracy and Hellman raced side by side for second, which allowed fourth place Zach Frederick to make a three car battle. As they raced hard for second, Tracy Domagala got too high off turn one and spun out. On the restart, Hunter had his hands full with Hellman and Frederick. With eight laps to go, Hunter got too high off turn two falling to third, handing the lead over to Frederick. Hunter wasted no time passing Hellman for second and reeling in Frederick. When the white flag waved, Hunter threw it in hard in corners three and four, sliding right in front of Frederick. However, coming out of turn four, Zach Frederick had the momentum off the high side and just narrowly edged Hunter Domagala at the line to win in a thriller. Geoff Hellman finished third while Kasey Ussatis, who started 12th, finished fourth. Jason Meidinger rounded out the top five.
