DOMAGALA GOES BACK-TO-BACK IN NEW RACING DIVISION
Hunter Domagala started on the pole for the 40 lap IMCA Stock Car feature. Domagala, who won on the Season Opener back on May 10th, quickly pulled away from the field. Shawn Strand, who started third, quickly moved into the second position. Strand meticulously and patiently reeled in Domagala. With 15 laps to go, Strand caught Domagala and they raced side by side for the lead. Domagala would hang on but Strand would rally back to challenge for the win. They raced side by side for the win when a caution with seven laps to go erased Strand’s momentum. On the restart, Hunter Domagala held off Shawn Strand to win in dominating fashion. Jason Berg finished third while Jeremy Herr made a late race pass to finish fourth ahead of Matt Dosch.
