Horton Tops West GA Speedway to Claim First Win of the Season

With the promoters and track officials mandating several precautionary measures to hold the event during the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Austin Horton traveled to Senoia (GA) Raceway on Thursday night to kick off his 2020 season with the DirtonDirt.com Shootout. In a stout field of 43 cars, Horton followed up the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group with a seventh place finish in his heat. Earning a provisional into the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Austin charged through the field 15 spots to register a ninth place finish.

Returning to action on Saturday, Austin took his Horton Flyer No. 16 Limited Late Model to West GA (GA) Speedway. After arriving to the complex late, Horton rolled to his first win of the season in the feature.
