Zander LaRose visits victory lane at Doe Run Raceway

RS 12 Motorsports drivers Harrison Robards and Zander LaRose kicked off a doubleheader weekend on Friday with a short trip to Doe Run Raceway (Doe Run, Mo.) with LaRose competing in one division while Robards was pulling double duty.

Shelfing a pair of top-10 finishes, Robards followed up a sixth-place A-Class Micro feature finish with an forward run in the Outlaw Winged Micro A-Main. He climbed one spot in the 20-lap affair to finish ninth.

Meanwhile on Friday, LaRose charged eighth-to-first in his heat before picking up his eighth win of the season in the feature with a flag-to-flag triumph.

The pair wrapped up a successful weekend on Saturday with a solid runs at Coles County Speedway (Mattoon, Ill.). Zander's night was highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the Jr Sprint ranks while Harrison rebounded from an early exit in his A-Class feature with a seventh-place performance in the Non Wing main event.
