Gregg Satterlee notches top-10 LOLMDS finish at WVMS
Taking part in a doubleheader weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Gregg Satterlee headed to West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, W.Va.) on Friday afternoon for the Historic 100 weekend.
In a field of 27 cars, Satterlee timed in fifth-fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. With $10,000 on the line in Friday’s preliminary feature, Gregg raced to an eighth-place finish in the 30-lapper.
On Saturday, Gregg locked his spot into the $50,000-to-win Historic 100 A-Main a third-place finish in his heat. He was slated to roll off seventh for the shortened 30-lap finale before wet weather postponed the event to a date to be determined.
