Mechanical woes cut short LOLMDS weekend

Taking part in a doubleheader weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Gregg Satterlee visited Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) on Friday evening for the Great Lakes 50. With a second-place finish in his heat race locking him into the fourth-starting position for the opening night feature, Gregg was one of a handful of drivers that suffered a flat tire. The following night at Pittsburgh Pa. Motor Speedway (Imperial, Pa.) for the 32nd annual Pittsburgher 100, Satterlee’s third-place finish in his heat race pinned him 10th on the starting grid for the $20,000-to-win finale. Bringing out the second caution of the race, Gregg’s bad luck continued over the weekend as he called it a night on the lap 25 after pitting on the 11th circuit.
