Robinson visits Bedford Speedway for Labor Day Classic

Ross Robinson’s Labor Day weekend kicked off on Friday with a trip to Bedford (PA) Speedway for the Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series-sanctioned Labor Day Classic.

Aboard his Commonwealth Equipment No. 7 Late Model, Ross squeezed into the $12,055-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat race. Pinned on the eighth row for the 55-lap affair, Robinson was an early retiree on lap 22 while running in sixth.

Both Saturday's and Sunday's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series slated events fell to wet weather.
