Chris Ferguson tackles Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway
Back behind the wheel of his familiar No. 22 machine, Chris Ferguson rolled into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon before heavy rain showers washed out the FloRacing Night in America show.
Competing in Thursday's preliminary night, Ferguson laid down a quick lap in qualifying and followed it up with a runner-up finish in his heat race. Fading outside the Top-10, Chris did not complete all 50 laps of the $25,000-to-win prelim feature.
Slated to start in the second heat race on Saturday, Ferguson dropped to seventh and was relegated to a last chance showdown where he was unable to race his way in to the $100,030-to-win main event.
