Bailes collects $10,000 ULMS payday at Dog Hollow

With 26 Late Models on hand, Bailes locked into the seventh-starting postion for Friday’s $2,000-to-win opener via preliminary events. Moving forward two spots in the 25-lap affair, Ross raced to a fifth-place finish, which came behind Alex Ferree, Andrew Wylie, Ryan Montgomery, and Jason Covert.
On Saturday, Ross followed up the second-fastest lap in his time trial group with a runner-up finish in his heat. After leading laps 16-37 in the feature, Bailes regained the top spot on lap 39 and paced the field for the final 12 circuits to secure his fifth win of the season and a $10,000 prize. He took the checkers ahead of Alex Ferree, Eddie Carrier Jr., Jason Covert, and Jared Miley.
