Payton Freeman joins World of Outlaws at Ultimate for Memorial Day weekend
On Friday afternoon, Payton Freeman joined the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) for preliminary night of the Ultimate Showdown.
With a stacked 40-car field on hand, Payton struggled in qualifying and pulled off early in his preliminary feature to record a 20th-place DNF.
Unfortunately, Saturday's $35,000-to-win main event was rained out.
