Freeman lands podium finish with Southern All Stars at Tri-County Racetrack

Fresh off a victory, Payton Freeman began his Labor Day weekend at Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway on Friday afternoon with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.

Following a fourth-place finish in his heat race, Payton started the $10,000-to-win show from the fifth row and brought it home ninth after 50 laps.

At Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) on Labor Day, Freeman was third quickest out of 18 Southern All Star Super Late Models at the track. In the $10,034-to-win main event, Payton battled with the lead duo but ultimately settled for the last position on the podium. He trailed Jamie Oliver and David Payne while Kenny Collins and Kurt English completed the Top-5.
