Poore podiums at North Georgia; lands sixth-place finish at 411
Kicking off his Memorial Day weekend aboard his Tarr Chevrolet No. 2 Late Model, Terry Poore visited North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon for the Crate Late Model portion of the Biddle Ridley Memorial.
Notching his second top-five finish of the season, Poore followed up the third-fastest qualifying lap in a field of 15 cars with a third-place finish in the feature. He chased Mitchell Stanley and Marty Lunsford to the checkers in the 20-lapper with Joe Picklesimer and A.J. Carlisi rounding out the top-five.
After taking Sunday off, the team returned to action on Monday for the 11th annual Scott Sexton Memorial at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.). With his time trial effort placing him on the third row for the main event, Terry steered to a sixth-place finish.
