Runner-up run at I-75 highlights best finish of 2023 for Terry Poore

Terry Poore entered his Competition Race Equipment No. 2 Late Model into battle at I-75 (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday evening for the regular night of racing.

With the second-fastest qualifying effort overall placing him on the front row for the feature, Terry chased race-long pacesetter Chandler Hickman to the checkers in the 20-lapper with Adam Mitchell, Cameron Hawkins, and Dustin Bunch completing the top-five finishers.

Saturday's scheduled stop at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
