Poore competes at Volunteer Speedway
After Mother Nature shortened the doubleheader event into a single day, Terry Poore returned to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon to compete in the Crate Late Model portion of the XR Super Series Spring Thaw 100.
In a field of 30 Late Models, Poore missed the mark in time trials but raced his way into the feature with a consolation victory. Gaining one spot in the 20-lap affair, Terry recorded an 18th-place outing.
