Poore finishes eighth in doubleheader at Bulls Gap

Friday night found Terry Poore in action at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) as the track was hosting a two-day Fan Appreciation Night.

With 23 Late Models entered, Terry’s qualifying effort placed him on the eighth row for the feature. Coming one spot shy of Top-10 finish, Poore gained five positions in the 30-lapper to register an 11th-place outing.

For the second round on Saturday, Poore got behind the eight-ball in time trials but was able to rebound in the feature. Passing 11 cars in the 30-lap affair, Terry marched to an impressive eighth-place finish.
