Schrader Wins at Moberly; Top 10's at Show Low
Ken Schrader trekked west to Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway (Show Low, Ariz.) over the weekend to compete in the IMCA Stock Car division.
On Friday evening action opened with Ken finishing second in his heat race. Starting ninth on the feature grid, he raced to a fifth-place finish behind Chaz Baca, Don Earven, Larry Brigner, and Jesse Johnson.
The second half of the doubleheader was held on Saturday night, and Schrader won his heat race from the fourth-starting spot. In the main event he would start and finish seventh.
On Tuesday night Ken went into battle with the POWRi Modifieds at Moberly (Mo.) Motorsports Park. Enjoying a clean sweep of the night Schrader raced to his ninth win of the year with Chris Spalding, Jon Melloway, Richard Kimberling, and Eric Johnson.
