Joiner lands podium finish in Hunt the Front No. 10 at EAMS
Taking part in the rescheduled Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals event from July 21st, Joseph Joiner and the Hunt the Front team traveled to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for the opener of the two-day event.
Already locked into the ninth-starting position for the $7,553-to-win feature, Joiner muscled forward two spots in the 40-lap affair to place seventh.
Back at the Alabama oval on Saturday for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series sanctioned contest, Joseph stopped-the-clock second-fastest in his group before placing first in his heat. Chasing a $10,000 top prize in the 50-lap feature, Joiner rolled to a third-place finish, which came behind Jimmy Owens and Zack Mitchell with Carson Ferguson and Austin Horton rounding out the top-five.
Joseph sits third in the latest Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series point standings.
