Joseph Joiner Competes in Bristol Dirt Nationals

Joseph Joiner kicked off the 2022 edition of the Karl Kustoms Bristol Dirt Nationals on Friday evening at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. With 37 XR Super Series Super Late Models registered for the $50,000-to-win show, Joseph qualified ninth fastest in his group in time trials.

Starting fifth on the grid for his heat, he passed two cars to finish second, which locked him into the sixth-starting spot for the feature. Joiner raced in the Top 10 throughout the 50 lapper before crossing the finish line in 10th.

Action continued on Saturday with another complete $50,000-to-win affair, and on the heels of a runner-up finish in his b-main, Joseph locked into the 19th-starting spot in the feature.

With an ill-handling car he retired early in the feature to a 22nd-place finish.
