Battery issues drop Knowles from contention in Ice Bowl at TST

Behind the wheel of the Competition Racing Equipment No. 66 Savage Chassis house car, Jake Knowles visited Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon to kick off the 2021 season with the 30th annual Ice Bowl. Earning the fourth-starting position for Sunday’s $3,000-to-win A-Main, Jake was running in fourth near the halfway point when his car lost power. He was credited with a 17th-place outing in the 50-lap affair.
