Larson Scores $1,000-to-Win Dominick Bruns Memorial with Luinenburg, Coopman, Beckendorf and Andrews Also Victorious at Jackson Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (June 25, 2016) – Dustin Larson captured the $1,000-to-win Dominick Bruns Memorial on Saturday at Jackson Motorplex, where Justin Luinenburg and Nate Coopman remain undefeated and Brandon Beckendorf and Jason Andrews claimed their second feature wins of the season.

Larson maneuvered from fourth to garner the marquee IMCA Stock Cars main event victory, which was his third of the season. Derek Green finished in the runner-up position with points leader Luke Sathoff rounding out the podium. Shawn Bruns ended fourth and Levi Feltman charged from 15th to fifth place.

Luinenburg advanced from sixth to score his fifth feature win in five Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA Hobby Stocks main events this season. Austin Jahnz was second, Trevor Holm third, Eric Gillete fourth and Bryant Johnson fifth.

Coopman powered from fifth to keep his winning streak alive at five in a row this season at Jackson Motorplex in the Boji Bay Water Park IMCA Sport Compacts class. Jay Devries posted a runner-up finish with Oliver Monson placing third, Kaytee Devries fourth and Scott Espey fifth.

Beckendorf rallied from 10th to score his second straight victory in the Wilmont Oil IMCA A-Mods division. Chris Palsrok held off 15th-starting Mark Noble, who took over the lead in the championship standings. Jeff Larson ended fourth and Randy Klein fifth.

Andrews overcame a 10th starting position to record the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA Sport Mods triumph. He is now tied with Matthew Looft atop the championship standings. Lyle Sathoff settled for second place with Dan Paplow charging from 14th to third. Kyle Steuber was fourth and Alex Schubbe fifth.

Jackson Motorplex will host two nights of competition next weekend beginning on Friday with the Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars (double features), Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars and Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints prior to Saturday’s weekly IMCA program.
