Jackson Motorplex Champions Capitalize on Consistency

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Sept. 4, 2017) – All five track champions have been crowned at Jackson Motorplex, which only has one event remaining on the 2017 schedule.

The half-mile oval will be quiet for the next two weekends before hosting the IMCA Jackson Nationals presented by Arnold Motor Supply, which features the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods, Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks, IMCA stock cars and IMCA sport compacts, on Sept. 22-23.

Mark Dobmeier became the final track champion to be determined thanks to his charge from 11th to fourth place on Saturday during the final 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store race of the season. Although Dobmeier didn’t reach Victory Lane at Jackson Motorplex, he was the most consistent driver in the class. Dobmeier was tied for the track lead with six top fives and he was tied for second best with eight top 10s.

Consistency was key this season at Jackson Motorplex. Although only one champion had the most wins, four of the five track champions led their division in top fives.

Kaleb Johnson picked up eight top fives in 13 Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 sprints races.

Justin Luinenburg posted six top fives in seven Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks main events, which was tied atop the charts.

Matthew Looft led the Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods with four wins and eight top fives in nine races.

Mat Hollerich was tied for the most top 10s in the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods with seven in nine races.
