Trio of podium finishes for Johnny in USRA Fall Nationals at Vado

With a heat race victory placing him on the third row for the preliminary feature, Scott jumped up two spots in the 20-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He stood alongside race-winner Cade Dillard and Jake O’Neil on the podium.

On Saturday, Johnny followed up a ninth-to-third run in his heat race with a runner-up finish in the feature.

With preliminary results from Friday and Saturday locking Scott on the front row for Sunday’s $22,000-to-win USRA Fall Nationals A-Main, Johnny led the opening 33 circuits but was unable to hold off Cade Dillard in the 50-lapper. He followed Dillard across the line with Jake O’Neil, Dereck Ramirez, and Jake Timm completing the Top-5 finishers.
