Austin Theiss makes St. Louis trip for Gateway Dirt Nartionals at Dome

Making another appearance at the Gateway Dirt Nationals, Austin Theiss rolled into The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) on Thursday afternoon for his preliminary night.

With a stacked 66-car field on hand for night one, Theiss was 18th-quickest in his time trial group and finished seventh in his heat race which ended his night early. Buried in the back of a non-qualifier on Saturday, Austin was unable to make the big show.
