Rowan Follows Lucas Oil Series to East Bay Raceway Park

On Monday night Jonathan Rowan followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the Wrisco Industries Winternationals. Drawing 46 Super Late Models, Rowan edged his way into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. The following night for another $5,000 top prize, Jonathan logged a 10th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Rowan posted a 12th place finish giving him one last shot at the feature with the DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash. With only the race winner making the A-Main, Jonathan posted an 8th place finish bringing an early end to his night.

With 51 cars registered in for action on Wednesday, Rowan recorded a 6th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Failing to place in the Top 3, Jonathan had one final chance at the $7,000-to-win A-Main with DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash. Needing to win the consolation event to make the show, Jonathan Rowan logged a 6th place outing.

On Thursday night for another $7,000-to-win A-Main, Rowan dropped four spots in his heat to place 6th. Slated to start 7th in his B-Main, Jonathan was a scratch from the 12-lap consolation event.

In a field of 54 cars on Friday evening, Jonathan recorded a 7th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Failing to place in the Top 2, Rowan had one last shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main with the Strawberry Dash. Taking only the race winner, Jonathan held his spot for the entire distance to place 12th.

Bringing the Wrisco Industries Winternationals to a close on Saturday, Jonathan came up one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Rolling off on the front row of his B-Main, Rowan slipped back to a 10th place outing.
