Top 5 Finish with MARS East Series at Camden Speedway

Behind the wheel of the O.H. Hendricks Sheet Metal #56 Super Late Model, Jonathan Rowan traveled to Clayhill Speedway (Atwood, Tennessee) on Friday night for the MARS DIRTcar East Series sanctioned opener. Laying down the fastest time overall in a field of 14 cars, Rowan earned the pole position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. After swapping out the lead with Tanner English, Jonathan and English made contact late in the race which flattened both of Rowan’s front tires. He was credited with a 12th place outing.

The following night brought 19 MARS DIRTcar east followers to Camden Speedway (Camden, Tennessee) for another $2,000 top prize. Following the fourth fastest time in qualifying, Jonathan secured his spot into the A-Main with a runner-up finish behind Dane Dacus in his heat race. Bringing home a Top 5 finish, Rowan landed a 5th place spot behind Tanner English, Dane Dacus, Joseph Gorby, and Scott Crigler.
