Bruening lands seventh-place finishes across the board in Gopher 50 weekend
Wrapping up the Northern swing with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series, Tyler Bruening was one of 31 Super Late Models at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) for night one of the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50.
Having to reschedule the first preliminary night to Friday afternoon, Bruening scored a pair of seventh-place finishes in both $7,000-to-win preliminary features.
Locked into Saturday's $50,000-to-win finale, Tyler was placed in the first dash and finished seventh which landed him on the fourth-row for the A-Main. In the 75 lapper, Bruening scored yet another seventh-place outing.
