Pair of Top 10's for Bruening at MTS

After seeing Thursday night's World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series competition nixed by rain at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wisc.) Tyler Bruening and the series were able to get the weekend underway on Friday.

Thirty-four competitors targeted the night's $25,000 winner's check. Carrying momentum from Friday's sixth-fastest qualifying time, Bruening raced to a second-place finish in his heat race, which lined him up sixth for the feature.

Running in the Top 10 throughout the feature, Tyler crossed the finish line in sixth at the conclusion of the 50 lapper.

A second $25,000-to-win program was held on Saturday night, and Tyler once again finished second in his heat race. From the sixth-starting spot, Bruening was unable to move forward in the field, still registering a solid eighth-place finish.

Tyler continues to sit fifth in the latest WoO points.
