Dustin Linville notches podium finish at 411 Motor Speedway

Dustin Linville visited 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon to kick off the sixth annual Leftover weekend by competing in the Modified portion. Behind the wheel of the Jeremy Thomasson-owned No. 39 Modified, Linville timed in 23rd fastest before grabbing the third-and-final transfer spot in his B-Main. Hopping in the driver’s seat of the Hatcher Motorsports No. D6 Late Model on Saturday, Dustin secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series-sanctioned feature with the second-fastest qualifying lap in his group. Regaining his starting spot late in the race, Linville notched a third-place finish in the 40-lapper. He trailed Cory Hedgecock and Jensen Ford to the checkers with Pierce McCarter and Josh Rice rounding out the Top-5.
